Data plan on a different provider? (Canada)

Hi

I'm in Canada Iand just activated the free 1 GB for 3 month data with AT&T.

I have a cellphone with 12 GB of data with Rogers. I wonder if it's possible to have my Uconnect use the data from my current provider ?

If so how?

I've been wondering the same thing, but from within the States. Cell phones can be unlocked to allow the use of other SIM cards; so it stands to reason that this cellular device can be unlocked in the same fashion. I'd really like to use a data-only SIM from my ProjectFi phone service instead of paying another $20/mo. But I haven't found any answers yet...
