Does anyone use a dashcam for trail videos? I am thinking of wiring one up as it would be smaller than a traditional action camera.

Probably a few threads on this but I have front and dash cams... some great trail vids off of that!

I also have a Blackvue DR750S forward Dashcam and the video quality is great. However it only catches video in 1 minute segments. Not sure if it's like that with all of them or if I have to adjust my settings, but I can catch an entire trail ride.....with a bunch of 60 second clips though. LOL

Yep... you do have to work a bit to get some useful videos... but since you only want part of a ride that's not too difficult.
