Hey guys, I'm new to the forums...and Jeep community honestly. Picked up my first back in December, and have been doin little things here and there, paycheck and girlfriend allowing. Anyways, after researching around for the last few months, I finally put together a wireless phone charger mount, and I'm pretty impressed with myself....for not breaking more than I usually would.

I got an IOttie wireless charger, and a 17mm to 20mm adapter. Then attached it to the dash with a 67 Designs mount, and then installed a dual USB port in the dash tray, sorta outta sign, outta mind. Hooked it up to a cigarette power adapter thing from Quadratec, and then put in a continuous power thinga ma gig from Cool Tech so I can charge even when the Jeeps off.

I couldn't get my wipers off, so I couldn't lower my windshield...so I had to drill the 1 1/8 hole in the dash by hand. Other than that, everything else went together rather easily, and would recommend if you're anal about wires hanging all over the place like me.

Thanks for reading guys!

I took a similar path using the ProClip for JL, with the integrated lightning jack. I routed the cable behind the radio trim for a nearly invisible wiring.
While I’m not sure I’m in love with CarPlay (I have on both my JL and my Goldwing), it sure does make the connection effortless.

Very cool! I just ordered another mount from 67 Designs for the passenger side, so the ball and chain can charge her phone too...if she’s ever off it
