Custom Jacks

I fabricated and adapted some parts to make some 30" 24" travel 7500Lb scissor jacks work for my JL. They easily lifted half the JLUR 2 wheels off the ground and had more travel to spare. If I add some base plates or go to the frame instead of the rock rails, it will lift that much higher. The saddles are leaf spring perches. Round for axles and tubes and such, the big square cutout one for the frame. Seems to work well. Like any jack, I won't get under it while jacked. I need some large area pads like they make for the farm jacks. Probably make something.

I'm ditching the OEM jack for daily driving, in favor of one of these custom 24" scissor jacks. I'm thinking I'll ditch the HiLift for the trail in favor of two of these.

HiLift = ~30 lbs needs a mount
Custom 24 scissor ~18 lbs fits in rear cubby tub.
