Started to notice the doors feeling a little loose sounding when closing (just like my former JLU before they started creaking while closing). I'd read that the support beam inside had probably come partially un glued from the skin causing the creaking when it hits the door check stops. Since I had the door apart to do the proximity entry addition, thought I'd look at it. I could see the adhesive was sparingly attached to the skin, so I filled the entire gap with clear silicone. After curing, what a difference in the sound of the door closing. It actually sounds like a modern vehicle now instead of an over used Yugo. We'll see how long it holds up, but for now, I'm really amazed at the difference.
