Cracks in rocker panel seams

If it was mine, I would find a high-quality exterior clear caulking, seal it, and it’s done.

I think our “rust warranty” is RUST THROUGH, not any rust.

Exactly, it has to be a hole in the panel.

I would clean that seam with alcohol, then run a bead of clear sealant into the "crack ". Its probably a flexible seam sealer that wasn't applied correctly at the factory, and cured that way.

That's exactly what my husband suggested. I usually go along with whatever he thinks so will go that route. ? Thanks for the feedback.

Here's the response from Jeep Cares:

If you believe that this component is damaged we do recommend working with a dealer to resolve it. We can provide a list of others in your area if you'd like a second opinion."

Oh well. Either way I'm over it at this point.
