I believe what the body shop is referring to is the aluminum panel fender that the plastic extended fender ataches to.
That is correct. The plastic piece attached to it, mistakenly called a fender, is actually a fender flare.

My 2021 Jeep is in the body shop getting new doors and hood replaced but Stellantis refuses to replace the corroded fenders, saying that the latest 2026 bulletin does not include fenders. Does anyone know why fenders are now excluded? I can't find the 2026 bulletin.

Oops. I just noticed I posted this question in the wrong place.
The 5 year corrosion warranty covers outer-body sheet metal panels that are finish painted and visible by someone walking around the vehicle. I would think that a fender falls under that. Whether they replace vs repair is up to the bulletins. IMO they at least owe you a repair. Exclusions are corrosion caused by chips or scratches.

Yes, and I believe you posted the Stellantis bulletin 31-001-25 REV that stated fenders were covered but my dealer is now saying that a newer 2026 bulletin (that I haven't found so far) does not specify fenders. I don't know how they can change their mind and deny a warranty by just sending out a newer TSB. Thanks for your help, I am going to try and contact Stellantis.
