I have a 2018 jeep wrangler jl sport. Will the dealership fix the coolant leak for free or is this the owners issue ? Read some threads and it's not 100 percent clear if they will fix it or it will be my responsibility

Depends on if you are still under warranty coverage and what caused the leak. If you are under warranty and it was a part failure - you are probably covered.

If you are out of warranty or if you damaged it. You’ll have to pay to fix it

I had it since 2018. Just noticed it today. I'm pretty sure I didn't damage it. Juat noticed the leak today but have read several threads that this is a ongoing issue with alot of jl.

Since it’s a 2018 you’ll have to pay for it unless you have a super extended warranty on it. At this point it’s 6 years old…parts wear out.
