30k service got done and the doofus tech forgot to reattach the clamp on the main hose running from the radiator. Engine decided to puke about 2 quarts onto my driveway. I secured the clamp and threw some new coolant in the reservoir. Anything else I should be concerned with for this flub?

Monitor the reservoir over the next few days, to make sure it’s full. Bubbles etc from the dump. Hopefully your engine temps stayed good. Also call the dealer to let them know about the screw up. Maybe they can offer some goodwill

Rinse off any and all signs of residual spilled coolant from the block, etc. as you're able. This way, the eventual crusty deposits that might otherwise remain won't fool you into believing there's a coolant leak where none exists.

Thank you for the advice. Tried calling, no answer. Going to have to head in when I have some time I think.

Done. Thanks! Looking at older threads, looks like a lot of people run into reservoir cracks eventually so good to keep it clean.
