Just sprung a leak! Started noticing small puddles under the Jeep. Front drivers side. Anyone else have this? Goes in Monday for service.

Have you pinpointed the exact location it’s coming from? I don’t have this issue.

not totally sure yet. I wanna say it’s back where the water pump bolts to the block. There’s a wiring harness that comes from back there that’s wet with coolant. The front side of the pump and the side with the flange that goes to the rubber hose is completely dry

Looks to be the water pump, where exactly I’m not sure. Here’s a few more pics. Goes in at 8 so we’ll see what happens

Dealer just confirmed what I thought it was. It’s the seal between the water pump. Unfortunately the have to replace the whole pump. Should have the part in stock in a few days.

At least it’s simple to fix. Was it just a bad part or ?

Yeah I’m gonna guess a defective part. It’s an 18 with only 9k. I’d rather get a new pump then have them split that one open and replace the seal anyway.
