Convertible Hard Top Storage

Hello,

New here and owning my first Jeep, a dream come true after many years. I am wondering how you all handle the issue of weather and going without part of the top. I have a 3 piece convertible hard top. I'd love to take the top pieces off over the driver and passenger side, but worry about where to store or what to do with it when it is off. I like to travel with my giant dog, so the seats are always up and weather in Maine is always changing. It could be beautifully sunny with no forecast of rain and then it just appears. I do not want water in the interior. Wondering if you all have any tips, tricks, etc for storing on the go or how you all manage it. Thanks

The Sunrider stays installed year round. My Freedom panels are stored in their storage bag in my basement.

Keep an eye out. Bestop runs sales on the Sunrider and other tops periodically. Do not buy a Sunrider used.

Bestop will not provide warranty coverage on a used Sunrider. Also, many of them are sold with broken z-clips, making the install much more difficult.

I usually just put them in the OEM storage bag and put them in the trunk of the Jeep. You can stand them upright and the strap is long enough to wrap around the headrests of the backseat to hold them in place.
