Configuring OEM AUX switches after install

I put in the Mopar Aux switches last night, and just picked up the jeep from the dealer service department to enable them. Before I left I hit each button and the LED on each one lit up so I figured it was good. Got home and tried to configure them in the in dash screen but they don't show up. I tested the four leads under the hood and they all get 12v when enabled, buttons 1 and 2 turn off after a vehicle restart, buttons 3 and 4 come back powered on.

Question - Even though I added these after the fact, shouldn't I be able to configure switch memory, latching/temporary on, etc? Is there something the service department forgot to do? The didn't work at all before I took it in, so they obviously did something.

Yes.

No.

You most likely need to let the vehicle sit for a while before the switch config shows up. If the vehicle was flashed properly, the Uconnect radio needs to learn the new features of the vehicle. It may take up to 24 hours.

I went out to drive back to the dealer (hadn’t seen your reply). Decided to check one more time and there they were. Thanks for the info!
