I picked up this one...removed the battery clips and installed a 7-pin trailer plug on it. The 7-pin setup has a 30-amp wire from the battery in it. Easy to plug it into the trailer plug and air tires up.

Viair 88P Portable Air Compressor

I made a 4-tire inflator/deflator setup and it takes this compressor about 12-15 minutes to air up all 4 tires from 17 psi to 37 psi. Not the quickest compressor but it gets the job done.

I have the ARB twin. I seldom go wheeling and don’t use it to air up at least 1 or 2 sets of tires of guys who have the small portable compressors. I’ve aired up my 37s, another set of 37s, and a set of 35s before the portable aired up one set of 35s. It costs more up front but I feel I’ve gotten a good value from it.

I use a Viair 300P and it's excellent. Airs up my 33s in a jiffy.

Napa has %20 off today I picked up the maxi trac compressor sub 100 bucks.

i use two HF air compressors. occasionally on sale for $60. you can get an extended warranty and if anything ever happens to it exchanging it under warranty is easy peasy.

Do not know if it’s the best, but it is reasonably priced. I just purchased the smittybilt 2781.
