When you coming? I’m putting a trip together for first week of august. Though I’m pretty stock so holy cross is def out. May be able to cross paths a day pending when you’re out here

I'm passing through on Aug 6th and 7th on the way to Utah. On the 6th I'm doing Red Cone and Webster pass, then Black Bear Pass on the 7th.

I'm not crazy about doing them on the weekend (I suspect it will be packed/slow) but that's when I'll be passing through.

I was literally hanging out in Georgetown, CO yesterday after work and met this group.. easy peasy ride up to 13k yesterday after work. Had no idea I was even doing a pass (agerntine).. you can do it in 5 hours (stopping for pics)

That trail can get really gnarly if there is snow. I was with a group and the lead Jeep started to slide sideways. We had to do some creative winching and counter weights to get him back on the trail. We did not make it to the top. But everyone lived to wheel another day.
