My wife is somewhat vertically challenged and doesn't like having to sit so close the wheel. Not much in the way of reasonably priced aftermarket solutions. I extended the clutch pedal on her TJ with a block of rubber but ended up using a wood block for her JL. Cut and sanded matching bevels to the upper and lower portions of the block to match the pedal and original rubber cover. Drilled a couple holes in the pedal to screw the block to the pedal. Drilled a hole through the pedal cover and into the wood for a screw. Epoxied everything together, the tie strap in the photo is holding it while waiting for the epoxy to dry. Didn't take long and she's much happier now.

I see it's almost a year later, how's that holding for you?

I found I needed to glue the rubber to the metal, I would come off periodically. A little contact cement fixed it.
