What are y’all doing to get rid of the cloth on the dash in the Willy’s? My seats are a dark grey cloth but the front part of the dash is light grey. In my opinion, it’s just asking to get stained up & dingy looking over time. Any modifications with pics?

Yeah, having that cloth on the dash doesn't make much sense. Wonder if Velcro would stick to it?

I know some folks on here are using a type of paintable plastic cover.

You wouldn’t like me if you knew
Go to a hobby store and buy whatever material you like….

for my 18 STi I used a light designer camo style cloth

get 3m spray glue

remove panels…scuff everything up, spray glue and apply then trim the material.

replace it on dash.

I’ve done entire headliners and door panels in Alcantara like this

I’ve done this as well. Back in my street-truck days, I burned through bolts of gray tweed on my trucks as well as friends trucks 🤣 One of the interiors I did was even featured in a magazine if I remember right.

On my old stepside Sonoma I went a different route and sanded all the texture off the plastic pieces, primed and then painted them all to match the truck. I did the same thing on my ‘bagged ‘95 Chevy. From experience, wrapping trim in fabric is much less labor intensive than sanding, priming and painting 🤣
