Close door, engine shuts down

I have a 2018 JLU Sport., 3.6L gas. It's my first Wrangler and I've only owned it for month or so. If the engine is running and I close either the driver or passenger door, the hazard lights will flash a couple of times and the engine will stop. Doesn't seem to be associated with the start/stop feature as it doesn't automatically restart; I need to push the clutch and the start button to get started again.. Any ideas? It's more annoying than anything. Is this a "feature" the previous owner programmed with a Tazer or some electrical glitch?

It's definitely not normal behavior. Mine is also a manual and has never done that. Also not a feature of the tazer as far as I know. But they are known to cause some strange glitches from time to time, especially if they're not updated. Is the tazer still equipped? If so start by unmarrying it and see if it persists.

No Tazer is attached as far as I know; I didn't realize they needed to remain with the vehicle. I'll do a little more reading about these aftermarket programming devices. I'll see if dealership is willing to diagnose under warranty too.

first i have seen this problem. seems like something is backwards on the safety circuit id have the dealer look at it since you have only had it one month.
