Hello everyone. Hoping someone can help trouble shoot my problem before I take it into the dealer. About the Jeep: It's a used 2021 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited AEV build which I recently purchased. It has the 2.5 dualsport lift running on 37's. The Jeep only has 7000 miles on it and hasn't seen any off road action.

The issue: When turning left or right, it makes a clicking sound which I think is coming from either side of the front end. Underneath everything looks great and no noticeable issues. I've attached a video that has captured the sound. My thought is that it could be the sway bar links. Although, I tried disengaging the swaybar electronically and I still heard the clicking. It was less prominent but was still there.

Any thoughts on this is much appreciated!

There’s a TSB for front-end clicking. The “fix” is to tighten the ball joints to spec, especially the bottom one. Some of them come loose. Some just barely finger tight.

upper ball joint is 55 lb ft then advance the castle nut one more slot, lower is 33 lb ft plus one more slot.

Thanks Jav_eee! I tried getting a service appointment at the dealership but, they are a month out! I'll check them myself this week and follow-up if it fixes my problem.

No problem!

It's super easy to do with the right tools. I used a crows foot (think it was 17mm for both) so I could do it from inside the wheel without removing the tire.

This solved the problem! The lower ball joints were the only ones that were loose... no more squeeks! Thanks again!
