There’s a video going around of a huge washed out area at Cleghorn that was fairly recent, I wonder if it’s been repaired. This guy was just driving and came up in an 8 foot drop in the middle of the trail.

The video was posted a week ago. There was a second video of a husband and wife who pulled right up to it, also a week ago. So it’s safe to assume it’s recent

Reading further in the comments, the coordinates (34.3273, -117.4408 in the couple’s video) are in the Cleghorn area but not on the main I-15 or CA-138 ways up.

No clue The road looks familiar but all those trails look identical until you find the obstacles

Yes! I’ve made several Cleghorn runs with my stock Rubi setup—33’s and a Rubi OEM lift can handle a lot up there (I might have had a tire or two in the air on some moguls, but I take it slow and the experience is mild).

There are a few offshoots that should be bypassed in favor of the fire road IMO, but others just need a good line.

Im in. I need to take my jeep out to test out all the recent mods (a LOT!). I was planning to take it to cleghorn for this reason.

its been a long time since ive been out. Hopefully its not hot as hell but ah well.

cleghorn was my first trail i took my base sport on. Rubi springs and 33s and it did it no problem. It looks crazy but as i was told, “just let the jeep do its thing”

Looks like you have a Willys… What’s your differential and locker setup? IIRC Jeep beefed up the Willys rear axle config but I don’t recall which model year.

No matter, @SadRobot brought a friend once with a sport Gladiator (zero lockers, probably a LSD). We got her through some fun obstacles regardless.
