Jeep Wrangler accessories are not cheap and being early in a generation of production comes with more of a premium.

Definitely agree and if I can find a really nice option it would be worth it to me. I have time to look till the hardtop goes back on for the cold months.

I do like the idea of the clear lidz given it appears to be as close to fully clear across the front as possible.

Many only concern over that style is the plastic used. My plastics discolor over time, especially polycarbonate (Lexan). The JeeTops are glass, I believe.

Has anyone seen or used a ClearLidz yet?

$1200 is crazy, my guess is they are not selling any, but maybe Black Friday they will be 50% off to move a few units. Heck, 50% off is still a crazy amount for these. Hopefully someone has one and can tell us if they are worth it.

Based on the transmission spectrum featured on their webpage, the Clearlidz product is not polycarbonate (I work in ophthalmics, and poly cuts everything below 380nm not 400nm- leading me to believe these panels are some sort of acrylic).
