I'm still waiting on my front gears from Quadratec ?. I can only assume that Jeep is getting first dibs on 4.56s for the XR package but I don't know how they're splitting up the rest of the supply. I just know that I've been on the backlog for over a year now. At this point, I'm seriously debating forcing them to take back the rear gears I do have and going with 4.88s if they can actually fulfill those.
That’s what I would do. The difference is incremental between the two. What engine and tran do you have ?

3.6/auto. 4.88s would give a little headspace in the gearing department if I decided to go up to 37s somewhere down the road.

Yeah I don’t think you’d be disappointed based on the threads that I’ve read on here. Livable with 4.10s right now?

Liveable? Meh. You get used to it, kinda. Anyone that tells you that there's no change, at all, in going 35s or larger, even with 4.10s, is either lying to you or themselves. It's not completely miserable but I'm not a fan of the loss in performance.

I get it.
My Jeep is running 35s, 2.5 inch lift right now on stock 3.45s. Imagine that lol
I’d rather park it and drive my work truck until it’s re geared

I sprayed it with Rustolem bed liner. Easy to touch up, and cheap.

So, here's where things start to take the retro turn. I'm in my early 40's so the Jeeps I grew up ogling were the CJs. I just love this particular style of stripes on the Renegades. I've reached out to Pixel Decals to rework them a bit to fit the proportions of the JL. Hopefully, I'll see them this summer but he did warn me that he has a lot of projects on his plate.

Love this- I am looking at options to do something very similar on my sting gray
