Changed Tires

Hello I own a Jscan and license I am missing the by pass cable. What I wanted to know is.I went from a stock Rubi tire 285 70 17 to a Duratrac 315 70 17. My speedometer is only off by 3 kilometers,I did not notice any change in the gears. Should still go ahead and adjust the change in tire size or can I leave it the way it is? Any consequences in doing so.

Just remember the registered speed difference increases with speed...the faster you go the less accurate your speedometer is! Shift points may not be as beneficial for MPG if you do not update computer with new tire. I realize you will lose some MPG just because of larger tire...but get what you can put of it.

Rmember that the cable can also be used for future upgrades, like LED lights (which are a pain for a Canadian buying US lights), changing which light you use as your DRL or other items. Not a bad investment, even if you only see minor differences with your tire change.

Dealer installed oracle headlights and oracle bulbs in the fender flares. I just installed oracle led fog lights to match dealer wanted way too much lol.
