Cargo-area Switch Panel?

I'm looking to add some cargo area lights and other 12v accessories that will require switches. The switches need to be easily accessible from the tailgate area. I spent a little time today looking at the sides of the cargo area to see if there's a flat/hollow area to recess something but came up empty handed.

Anyone have any ideas how/where to mount a panel like the one below (or similar)?
