My jeep isn't drivable again. I'm having the christmas tree dash again, with the same problems as before. This time I can't even start it. If anyone is curious what happened last time. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...ssion-check-engine-light.113516/#post-2361310

From what I've read on a different thread that this might be the issue, So I'm wanting to swap it out hoping it would resolve the issues.

Does anyone have a spare connector like this laying around from a 2 pack they bought off of ebay?

Are you sure it's the Canbus? Have you checked your fuse array yet? A few threads have popped up in the last week about it and that's what ended up being wrong with my Jeep.

Was getting tons of dash lights, random service codes and the ESS message. Might be worth a shot just checking it out.

Fuse array? If you're referring to the fuse box under the hood. I literally pushed in all the fuses I saw, and that didn't seem to do the trick.

I've read the can bus can cause issues like this so I thought to try and replace it myself to see if it fixes it.

Not the ones you push in. The high amp ones on the array:

I'd test that out but I do not have a multimeter. I checked the battery levels, when I had my OBD adapter plugged in showed 12.2 that seems a little low. I wonder if my batteries are bad.

Try just moving the N3 fuse over to the N4 open spot. If the Jeep starts up with no error messages that's your issue.

From what I understand if you blow the fuse then the aux battery won't charge correctly. It drains and then drains your main. Now you have 2 dead batteries AND a blown fuse.

Now that I have mine working I'll most likely disconnect the AUX from the main and remove fuse 42 to keep this from happening again.

It's already dark out. Just wanted to move my jeep off the street and into the drive way incase anything happens tomorrow into Monday. I might just tow it to the dealership on Monday and have them deal with it. Get it on record that this is the second time this issue is happening.

Just requested jeep roadside assistance to see if they can come by and jump start the car. Hoping it's just dead batteries with not enough juice causing all of these lights. I did order the can buss connectors off ebay, they arrive mid coming week.

UPDATE: That did not work.

Did they jump it or replace the batteries? Sounds like both your batteries are dead.

He jumped it. He said it wasn't the batteries and it was something else causing it to not start.

Towed it to the dealership this morning. I gotta question though, Since I put my front and rear bumpers on. I still haven't connected the fog light connector back on, and rear license plate connector isn't connected yet. That should be fine right?

In terms of causing issues? Shouldn't be related. I have some rear lights on my bumper not connected to anything. I also had my license plate light disconnected for like a week while I was waiting for a part.

In terms of if the dealership will give you shit about it that I don't know...

Great info, after finding this thread found I had blown the N3 fuse, couldn't find a fuse array locally so fixed it by putting a new fuse in parallel with the array.
Because of the tight space I used 2x 80A fuses, this allowed me to use smaller guage wire.
Btw, this is only a temp fixmusing parts I could find in local town, got the fuse array on order
