I was looking forward to an Anza Borrego camping trip this winter but without the Jeep I have nowhere to sleep. I have a feeling the Prius wouldn't make it out into Fish Creek.

A running start could get you in for the first half mile but you may not get back out without a tow.

I spent about one year, 91-92, in CA and that was enough. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. No way I'm returning. In no particular order: Motley Crue fired Vince Neal, Magic Johnson announced he was HIV positive, a 7.4 earthquake, LA riots (my unit was next to deploy there), massive mudslides crumbling mansions just to name a few events in my short time there. I didn't even want to connect at LAX on my way to Hawaii 15 year ago.
