Has anybody seen a review of The BSG 3.6 in the JLU?

I could care less about the fuel economy. I am more interested if BSG with the 8 spd auto will offer noticebly more
- hp
- low end torque
- reduce throttle lag
And a feel that is more like a manual when decelerating.

Any thoughts

Also how much does adding bsg cost to your order?

It doesn’t “add” anything. Definitely no horsepower. It supply’s a bit of torque while the engine builds up but it’s a buffer not an addition.

Really it’s job is to get you better mileage. If you don’t care about that I doubt it’s gonna offer much for you.

I’ve seen reviews of it on the Ram and basically it helps smooth out the start stop. That’s about all anyone’s been able to notice about it so far.

It also adds 90 ft lbs of torque right off the get go in the V6 trim so even though that is for a short period of time those with the bigger wheel and tires should definitely help with fuel mileage and getting all that extra weight moving. Sure would be interesting to be able to test drive one with BSG and one without BSG back to back when they release it to see the actual difference!
