So, That would work for the crossmember itself. Would you think it is the cause of the vibrations? or could it have been any other additional damage to perhaps the transmission?? I sure hope not.

After seeing the pics, I agree that bolting in a new one would be best.

The vibes are from your driveshaft. Do those still have the Rzeppa joints? Those are easy to damage. Been there, done that.
