Broken front speed sensor connector

Yep, I pulled the #*%#! wires out of the connector and it’s the half that is part of the vehicles main wiring harness, (not the half to the wheel sensor).
Question: Can I cut off both connector halves and replace them with a comparable connector assembly from an auto parts store (left), or should I order a OEM replacement (right)?
Anyone been down this trail?? Thanks in advance.
