If you're going to hit them, square up and go dukes of hazard. The offset crash is the worst for front seat occupants and their legs anyway even if the vehicle stays upright.
That's where you bank on your steel bumper saving you... and pray for the occupants of the other vehicle. Case in point why I don't buy small cars anymore.

I removed mine before installing RSE step sliders. I think RSE has since modified their design. Easy to do with a Sawzall. I’m sure the underside of my Jeep is much more aerodynamic and fuel economy has increased drastically. ?

Started getting put on halfway through the year on 22s I believe but it’s supposed to help with rollovers and keep the passenger wheel from going up under the Jeep. Fairly well known and multiple threads on the subject.
FYI, there’s one on my ā€˜22 High Tide built in May of ā€˜22…so with the XR 2ā€ factory lift and 35ā€ wheels, I’m guessing it probably wouldn’t do what it’s supposedly designed to do?
