Cerakote works great, yes be careful with streaking. Downside is, per an email response to my question about long term reapplication, you can’t…without sanding at worst or a manic eraser at best. That gives me pause doing it on the other Jeep.

I may just do the cowl as it’s the worst at the moment and also the cheapest part to just replace if the Cerakote eventually fails.

I buy it directly from distributo but our NAPA store sells it also our auto zone, and advanced auto.

It’s an aerosol spray it on any excess you wipe off. When I picked up my new rubicon last March it looked amazing. Asked my salesman what the detail guy used, he said was a secret and since it was a Saturday the detailer wasn’t in and he actually finished it. He wasn’t BS me and we became friends, and eventually he gave me a can. The weather was a mix of heavy rain and snow that day plus the road salt. He wasn’t lying nothing stuck to it and the following weekend I washed it, shined for almost 2 months. I was sold

I'll look for it at napa and autozone, I'd like to give it a try. What do you they get for a can of it?

Well I pay $10.70 last year per can depending on the NAPA store it could be $20.00

I remember a while back a gentleman posted this castle watermelon shine but I thought he was joking. I mean, lets be honest, it sounds good enough to drink.

I recently did a few online searches for this castlemans watermelon shine. No luck on Amazon but a very interesting name of a dried fruit showed up.

Mix some vantablack pigment into meguairs back to black, and apply it on the fenders.

I've always wanted to try this, but current jeep has painted fenders.
