A "stock" Rubicon is more capable than I will ever be as an off-roader. I just have a can't leave things alone kinda disease. I blame growing up in SoCal's car culture.
Once my JLUR actually arrives I’ve got a whole host of other options planned, but I’m not going to be turning it into a massive off-road vehicle. I’ll mainly use it for joyriding around town, taking on vacations, and doing relatively easy trails. So most of my upgrades will be more aimed at useability and creature comforts. I went with the Rubicon primarily so I would have something that was already more capable than basically anything else I could purchase so I wouldn’t need to really do much to it to have some fun.
And it’s my first Wrangler. So I hope we’re going to love it as much as I THINK we’re going to love it...
