New to this forum! I have a 18 JLU Rubicon in stingray gray. Hauk Front and rear bumper plus sliders on the way..

Looking at putting some 35” MT tires on my JLU Rubicon. I’m torn between both the Dick Cepeks and BFG’s...

Mostly driven on roadway but I wanna get up to playing in deep snow and mud on the weekends. I live in NW Washington and the snow is wet and heavy. Any suggestions or experience with these two or others?

Why do you want a mud tire for primarily on road driving? I would look at an AT or hybrid (KO2, Ridge Grappler, etc.)

Totally agree with above - with primary focus being on-road and snow wheeling, good AT's with decent siping.

I really liked the KO2's I had on my previous JKU Rubicon (35x12.5") - that rig was a DD + lots of snow action and some moderate trail in the summer (no rock crawling). These tires would push my rig through 12-18" of fresh snow with no issues whatsoever; I used to drive up mountain passes in the winter and pull out pickups and SUV's along the way. We'll see how my new Cooper STT Pro's do on the JLU in similar conditions! The new JLU will be used for snow as well, but also a decent bit of moderate to challenging dry trails w/ rocks (Moab/ most everything in Colorado/ etc).

Goodyear duratracs are pretty widely liked for more hybrid AT/MT. Not too loud, good wear, and good offroad

Im going with a 37" STT Pro on my JL, but for a 35", (what Im running now on my JKUR) I would definitely go with a Duratrac, especially if you are dealing with snow. Fantastic tire, and if it came in a 37 I'd get that for my JL.

Well I hope that on the way doesn't mean 3.5 months like mine did haha but I love my Hauk bumpers and sliders so worth it:)
Hauk has been threatening to put out a side step that I want but lord knows when it will be ready.
