I have a 2 door Rubicon JL and really like the upcoming AEV front bumper and I also like the LOD Destroyer rear bumper/ tire carrier due to all the versatile attachments including the storage rack above the spare tire.

https://www.quadratec.com/p/lod/destroyer-rear-full-width-bumper-tire-carrier-jeep-wrangler-jl

I can't find another brand of rear bumper and tire carrier that has all these options. AEVs rear bumper has the gas caddy and jack/shovel attachments but no storage rack above the spare tire.

I'm wondering if it would look strange having two different brands of bumpers on the jeep, if the paint will match, etc....anyone running different brands of bumpers on their rigs?

Get what you like. You don't have to stick to the same brand. I've had different brands on front and rear on multiple jeeps. As long as they compliment each other go for it.

Matte black always matches matte black, you could order these unpainted and then send them to the same paintshop if you really want to be sure of a matching shade of black.

I am planning on getting bumpers from different manufacturers, so I need someone else out there such that I don't look like too much of a wierdo. :P

Just looked, dang, that is a nice bumper... go for it!

It's very common to have 2 different manufacturers. I have an LoD Destroyer up front & an ICI Magnum bringing up the rear. I wanted the LoD rear to keep the design consistent, but I didn't like the placement of the license plate.

If you like 2 different bumpers, that's ok because it's YOUR Jeep! Have fun personalizing it. And like others have said, take them both to a paint shop if you want. Or rattle can them whatever you want.

For me, it's all in the angles. If you have a rounded bumper on one end and an angled or squared on the other it might not look "finished". Also, different products may be raw metal or have a different "black" color and / or texture so if mix matching them it is suggested to color match. Sometimes that means a full sandblast of the product.
