Hey guys, I have a rubicon 4xe and want to add more lighting. Due to local laws requiring me to cover exterior lights (I want to be able to turn them on and off without having to get out and take off the covers) and because my wife does not want any lights mounted on the exterior of the Jeep (it’s a shared vehicle), we have the Quadratec stealth light bar which mounts inside the dash. To add some more lighting I was thinking of using the rugged ridge behind the grill Light mount and putting some white/amber 3” cube lights behind the grill so they are out of the way but still relatively effective. The grill slots are much bigger on the 4xe than a regular Jeep so I think it would let a lot of light through. Any idea if this would cause over heating issues or do you have any other thoughts on how to get more light without mounting them on the exterior of the Jeep. Thanks!
