So I keep having my batteries die and I cannot figure it out for the life of me.
I posted a thread a while back where my head unit was acting crazy. See here: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/8-4”-uconnect-constantly-bootlooping.120246/
About 9 months ago, I swapped batteries as they died. I thought the ESS battery had died and bright the main battery with it. No problems for about 6 months
Batteries died again about 3 months ago. I thought this was suspicious but couldn’t find any reason. Swapped them out again. The head unit issue has persisted.
I’m not sure if the head unit issue occurs due to low voltage or if it contributes to the killing of the battery.
Yesterday the batteries have died again and a charger won’t bring them up. The dash screens are all flashing and everything is clicking and making noises.
Attached is the code pulls. I imagine that the lights are all due to the low voltage? I can’t imagine all of them being shorted.
I’m wondering if there is a harness somewhere that is chaffed and shorting or something similar. I’m at a loss
