Backup Camera Askew

Just noticed my backup camera is a little off. May have happened when I had the spare tire switched out but I didn’t notice until several weeks later. I pulled the spare off and put everything back on just to make sure everything is snug and it didn’t help.
Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

It does look as of the camera it self got pushed back somehow and that is why you are getting some vignette around your screen. I would try again but you would have to probably remove everything again and probably even the carrier to get at the camera mount.

Did you by chance change wheel types? I know that there are two different part numbers for the bezels, one for steel wheels and one for aluminum.

There are rubber bump stops on the tailgate that the spare gets pushed into when tightened on the carrier. It looks like the spare wasn't fully tightened, which is why the camera stalk is now slightly recessed and the plastic housing is not pushed all the way on. Your second pic shows the tab hanging down from the plastic housing while in the lock position. That tab should be flush with the bottom when properly installed.

Yes in the second picture the camera locking cover isn’t on properly but even so the camera it self is not seated properly either. You have a very small gap and that is why the camera is picking up the edges of the mount so you are getting a very slight circle on you screen
