Backspace closes keyboard?

I can't tell if it's a problem with my tablet or phone or the site but when I'm typing out a post and I press the backspace on my keyboard it closes the keyboard.

So far I can only replicate this here on the site and it only happens when I'm typing a post. Doesn't happen in the search bar or any other text field.

My phone is a Galaxy S10 Plus and my tablet is Samsung Tab S4. Both are running google chrome.

Same thing with my Samsung tablet running chrome, but occasionally works the right way.

Found out the issue -- it's due to a recent Android update:

Hopefully it'll be patched soon through an Android update.

Yes, my Android phone running Google Chrome browser started doing the same thing today. However, as I was typing this reply I tried it again and the problem seems to have been fixed.

P.S.

Anyone experiencing this with Android should be able to bypass this issue by clicking on the gear icon in the editor. That switches the editor to text-mode and should avoid the current issues until Android pushes out a fixed version.
