Auxilliary switches

I'm installing Quake LED and wiring the DRL to my Aux3 swtch.
Will it be sufficient to just use the supplied parts from Mopar (in the picture) ?
It looks like it's a metal piece that should crimp the wires together and shrink wrap tubing to cover it. But I can't find much in the instructions. Is this the right way to connect into these?

The best way is to solder the connections and shrink wrap them.

Yes those are the connectors for the aux switches although you cannot use the average parts store crimpers to crimp the wires with those. They are “factory style connectors and you need “factory style” crimpers to use them.

Looks like you and I had the same sort of idea, start with a Sport and add a few cheap Rubicon take offs to upgrade.

Maybe I'll just use a butt connector and call it a day - they're DRL's so not critical if the connection fails.

Yeah, I figured the Halogens would be fine, but they're so dim I don't really feel safe on a dark road at modern speed limits so I'm adding on the LEDs, I figured I might as well get a decent set. It's still cheaper than the factory option.
