Auxiliary battery help.

Etorque also has an empty battery box there as if there is a small 12 volt battery there. Thats why I suggest looking under the Jeep first if you see the etorque battery and skid as in the pic I posted it’s conclusive that the small battery box in the inner fender will be empty

Ya, my JLUR has one. I just replaced it after 4.5 years with only 15,000.

I agree about the auto stop. Do your auxiliary switches work without the auxiliary battery? Mine was telling me at start up that auxiliary switches where not available until the battery charged once you start the motor with your main battery.

No, I wired everything off the main battery. The only thing I noticed is that the orange light on ESS is now permenantly on. When I disable it through Tazer I dont have the light, So I am going to be redundant and disable in Tazer as well. Honestly I have had nothing but problems with that crappy little battery, I was repalcing one a year. I live in Phx and the heat destroys them. Now, No Aux Battery and no problems... If I install a winch I will increase the size of the battery, but all the specs say a stock battery will function just fine if you dont have a bunch of parasitic loads on it (led bars, Sub woofers, etc)

I have my winch hooked to my aux 1 switch and my lights to aux 4. I just have the standard battery from factory still. I live in Michigan where it's like 10 degrees right now plus wind chill of about 0 right now, and I park outside. The cold definitely effects the battery life. I can fit it in my garage, but my 2-car garage is stuffed and when you walk out the garage entry door the spare tire on the back is right in your face. Now that I have changed it 4.5 years in, I'm good. Here in Michigan, we do have heat during the summer. This last summer we had 17 days above 90 degrees. But where you life I'm sure it much hotter than that. I don't have too much experience with any of the jeeps I have had in extreme desert heat.

We had 120 days over 100 degrees and actually set new records 118-120 degrees. What a Miserable shit hole....

Nice tires by the way. I have had two sets of those now on this JLUR 37x12.50 and 35x12.50 on my old JK. They are a great tire! Yet when you look at review of the best off-road tires they all are biast. Every video or question your asks google says. BF Goodrich M/T, Wrangler Boulder M/t, or Nitto Trail M/t. I notice this, yet every other person I know with a jeep has these Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/Ts.

I had to recently replace my battery on my 2020 jeep wrangler Sahara unlimited. I know I needed to replace my Aux battery. I saw a video that the auxiliary was under the fuse box. So I took it all apart and like Geraldos tomb it wasn't there. Could it be some place else ?

dual battery kit from @genesis . bit pricey but it sure is nice not worrying about getting to the aux battery anymore. and now i have dual 750cca batteries to run my camping fridge and not worry about it draining the start battery

damn. I went to vegas back in 1999 in septemeber and it was 115 in the shade. we went to a desert park out side vegas with a rental care that thought we were going to die. we took a gallon of water and drank the whole thing and barely make back after a little hiking.

We actually have laws here at the Mountain reserve and public hiking trails that you cant hike if the temps. are extremly high. The spend a fortune on recovering people that think they can handle it. YOU CANT! Its HELL. Nothing is fair...Most of the recoveries cost the people that ignore the signs right around $70,000 depending on resources used.
