Hooking up my rock lights and haven’t quite finished for the night, I disconnected my battery (+|-) to hook up aux wire and ground. I am guessing it won’t do any harm to leave it disconnected over night?

Another thing I encountered as I was was looking for a ground post. I loosed a nut on the front passenger sid didn’t see the cable running to it at first, on the left side of the air box and heard clicking in the engine (battery cables disconnected) when I looked inside the Jeep the Auto Park light was on. Quickly tightened it back and the light went out - guess even with the main battery disconnected the ESS battery still provides some power.

Correct. You have to disconnect both batteries to completely kill all power to the Jeep.

Here's the forum link that best describes the methodology: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/to-kill-12v-power-to-the-jl-jlu.6244/
Thanks - just found this, didn’t realize it was that much different than just positive/negative - I will do this in the morning before I start anything.
