My auto stop/start service light came on. Will this cause me to fail a NY State Inspection? I know it most likely is my aux battery, which is concerning because I had it replaced in 07/2022. I’m thinking no, but wanted to make sure.

I can't speak towards your state inspection, but generally it's been found you need to replace both batteries otherwise you'll continue to have problems. Well documented in these forums.

ESS warning on EVIC will not cause your JL to fail NYS Inspection. I know this as fact and am not just speculating.
