Auburn CA Shop to regear

Looking for recommendations for a shop that can regear in or near Auburn CA. First quote I've gotten was for $3600. I can't spend that much right now.

Okay, they are also close to me. The first place I went to is near the Tractor Supply, not going to outright name them because they are nice guys. But their quote included 15 hours of labor. Which just sounds out of this world.
How much have you paid at WFO?

I have not had a quote because they are putting UD60s on right now. They are a stand up shop though and have done a lot of work on my rig and many of my friends.

I had a quote from cloakworks last year that was in the low 2k
There’s a shop in woodland, SOS, that’s about an hour from you in Auburn that’s similarly priced.
I haven’t had my gears done yet but the shop in woodland but they did the apex ball joints and did a good job.

WFO looks like a good shop but they quoted over 3k. Seemed too much to me.

WFO will do the best job, they are fantastic and the owner is an awesome guy. Axles are their bread and butter. If you want to shop around for lower prices, I've also known people who had great luck with Red D Transmissions, out in citrus heights, they specialize in offroad differentials and know what they're doing.

Cloakworks is also a great shop, I don't have any experience with them regearing but they installed my lift last week and did a great job, nice folks too.

It's not in Auburn, but I went to River City Differential and had a great experience. I was really happy with the price and service.
