I am interested in those Black Rhino - Armory wheels for my JL order, but i wondered if they were too heavy to be practical. The 17" weight indicated is 50lbs (?) on their FAQ, which sounds really high to me when adding a Ko2 35"

Since that'll be my first wrangler, i wondered if you guys had some wisdom to impart. Thanks!

Thanks for your imput.

Is there a reason why they get bloated as much?

Would there be a significant impact on the jeep's responsiveness with such added weight?

NOPE, I always use/have used ProCom ALLOY wheels-15/16/17"--21 to 25LBS--

No cracks/"outta round" or any defefects and these damn things were and are made in CHINA-

Over 18 years of use and no problems--

Makes me sick, but you have to accept SOME FORIEGN QUALITY !

I’m running them. They are heavy, more in the range of 41lbs per wheel so only about 20 more lbs than stock per wheel. Mine are on the stock 33s. No impact on performance or drive ability. Now if you are going to run 35s or 37s we are in a different ball park. You might want to look into regearing and you will definitely need to reprogram for tpms and speedo calibration. Definitely will need tailgate re enforcement for the spare. I love them but if you run the spare like I do you will have to keep the review camera lock off it won’t fit.
