I have a 2018 JLUR with Lockers and don't plan to install air lockers so I just wanted to have a single compressor for airing the tires up and down. I have a 2.0T so there was no easy space under the hood, I didn't want to deal with the rear and I wanted to use the AUX 1 switch for activation. I put the rear seats down regularly for hauling so that was not an option. The driver seat goes up and down so I eliminated that. That left under the passenger seat. I had help from a good friend with good tools. Pardon my lack of knowledge when I describe the tools. "We" mostly means Lars did it while I watched and vacuumed up the crumbs.

We removed the seat (4 bolts and disconnect two cables for the airbag).
We decided to mount a plate at the rear seat bolts.
We measured an 18" long Plate from 1/8" aluminum.
We cut it to shape on the left side by the center console. (Using a sort of up down table saw machine thing)
We bent it to make a "tray" about 1/2" high- the elevation gave room for the carpet and the 4 bolts under pointing up that mount the compressor to the Plate. (Using a clamp installed on a work bench to clamp it and a lot of manual force to make the bends). And cut the carpet off so the tray sits directly on the metal.
We marked the holes so it would be offset from the heater vent, and the clamped the mounting plate that came with the compressor and drilled holes through the plate holes.
We rounded all the edges.
We installed it with the hose attach point pointing to the rear for maximal stability.

Wire Harness:
WAAAAAY too much wiring came with it for this kind of install. There is a thick red/white wire to a plug, that plug is the most important and connects to the plug on the ARB. There is also a black wire coming out of that plug, that is the ground and equally important. Everything else got cut off at the end. The other thick solid red wire we cut off the harness and spliced to the red/white wire as the red/white was not long enough alone. I (finally did something) tucked the black wire under the side panel to the point where the door quick release cable is. I fished the wire up with a hook. We put a funny end on it and ground it to the orange screw just below the lip of the panel there. We tried ground it to the door catch hook but that was not "grounded" enough so moved it to the bolt just below. I can make a picture tomorrow. The red wire I tucked under the side panel all the way to the front where it came out under the dash. This we spliced to the tan/red lead from AUX 1. ARB recommends 40 amp and AUX 1 and AUX 2 (green) are 40 AMP. Aux 3 (orange) and 4 (blue) are 15 amp.

It's a very clean install, out of the way, easily accessible and I am happy with it. Hope this helps someone!
