Took the family bowling last night. Went to leave and the Jeep would not start. Brake pedal was super stiff and pressing the start button did nothing. I pressed the pedal very hard and nothing. Multiple times and I mean I pressed it hard. I tried remote start as well, and all it did was honk the horn a little. First time trying to use the remote start... Have just over 10K miles on it now. We had to have it towed to the dealership and get a ride home.

What is really amazing here is that you took your family bowling. I did not know that was even a thing anymore. I think all of our local bowling alley's have closed up.

Hope your dealership resolves the problem easily and hassle free as possible.

Ha! Yeah here in Wisconsin it's pretty much life as normal. Bowling alley was packed, we had to stop playing because leagues were starting. There was a pool league playing also.

Dealership called today. So far they don't know what's wrong with it.

So, evidently they had to replace the fuse box because of some shorting issue? They said the part would be there Thursday but it evidently came in this morning. Our "service advisor" told us at 11:30am the part was in and we could pick it up in the afternoon. No call later and we called them at 3pm. "Service advisor" has left for the day and will be in bright and early Monday. Never bothered to call or finish the job. This is why I detest bringing my vehicle to the dealer.

So, we got the Jeep back today. All good. Pain in the butt only having one car for a week, but whatever. They did a good job. They did some software updates to UConnect as well, so maybe that won't be so spotty from now on.
