For the last 2 weeks, Android Auto will play a few songs and then the music stops...an error message pops up on the jeep screen saying Android Auto error. Phone is a Samsung Galaxy s10 plugged into the usb input. I've tried a new cable plugged into console and dash input and it didnt help. Also cleared cache in Android Auto and Spotify and it didn't help.

Anybody else having issues? Seems to be a result of a recent Android Auto software update. Very annoying..

I had the same experience only with Pandora, also on an S10. I stopped using AAuto and when I want music from the phone I use the BT connection. No disconnects. I also now use a Garmin which is easier to see and not phone dependent. To your question, "Yes, it is AAuto since they are constantly tweaking the software with little regard for the Uconnect system."

Thanks for the reply...I like the clean look of Android Auto and haven't used a Garmin in a long time. Also, using Bluetooth for audio downgrades the quality. Looking to find a fix for Android Auto.

Anyone find a fix for this? The only thing I heard to try is an update to the Uconnect software. Seems a little backward as I think the change was made on the phone side. I'm using an S20.

@buzz998 I ended up switching from using the usb in the console to now using the usb on the dash. It fixed mine..

Mine was the same way...must be issues with the console usb
I agree. The console usb must have some connection differences as compared to the dash. I'd prefer having the cables generally out of the way. I am using a 90 degree turn usb c connector to try to keep it manageable....we'll see.

Agreed...it's a bit of an eyesore plugging into the dash usb with a wire hanging down and the cover half open. I've learned to ignore it..
