After waiting over 7 months, we finally got our AMP Research running boards installed on our Jeep. They were suppose to be put on a good while ago, but we had to wait for the hail damage to be fixed on the passenger side of the vehicle. The dentless repairs anyway. Both passenger side doors and the hood will hopefully get fixed in March.

We’re in our 60’s, and with a fused back and two artificial knees, my wife was having a very hard time getting in and out of our Jeep. Now, it’s a piece of cake!

Not the greatest pictures, but better than nothing. It was 16 here today and very windy.

I like them though they are pricey.

I like them, but not a fan of seeing the exposed seam on the bottom when they are down. LED lighting is sweet. Can they be installed with the factory Rubicon rock rails in place?

Been looking at both of these a lot as well. They're all expensive, but make your Jeep look like a transformer, so awesome :like:

I agree with you. I don’t like seeing the bottom of the exposed seam, but it sure is nice getting in and out of the Jeep. Not really much than can be done about it unless someone makes something for it. That may be something that I’ll have to try to tackle this summer.

I really doubt if they would work with the factory Rubicon rock rails.

I remember a while back I saw ones that could be installed with the stock, just don't remember which ones. The Amp ones look like there would be room.

I did find this to fix that issue! I may order these to see how they look on my Jeep.

They look good (I had them on a Silverado), but question....how do these work with the doors off since they are triggered by opening and closing the door?

I think the idea is you flip the switch to off when the doors are off, so they are not functional.

This is such a neat company. Started off making mountain bikes. They were innovative cool looking, but awful to ride. Much better as a step company...
