Alpine PSS-23WRA on 2024

Looking to add the Alpine PSS-23WRA to my 2024 Wrangler non Alpine (don’t have it yet - so just prepping ?). I’m a bit new to the audio stuff and been reading a fair bit on it, but it gets quite complex fast! I’d like to upgrade the system but not do a complete overhaul. The PSS-23WRA looks easy enough to install. Is it possible to purchase this system and a new T harness from PAC audio to get it to work in a ‘24? Would like to avoid cutting a splicing wires if I can. I can find good deals on used systems and the T harness is only $50 or so. Or is it better to wait? (Not known for my patience hehe) Thanks in advance!

A few weeks ago I contacted PAC about when the '24 harness was going to be available for the Alpine version. They said that at that time, they weren't sure when it would be available. I did not inquire about the non Alpine version. Due to the overhaul of the interior I would be hesitant to assume that it will work without verifying beforehand.

Seems strange that for the 24’s it’s a 12 pin harness but prior it’s 52.

That looks like it might work for what you want to do, but I would verify once you install it that it will interface with the Alpine,

None from me unfortunately. I’m still waiting on my Jeep so will look into it more when it arrives.

Bump for this thread. I took my pss 23 out of my 19 Jl and wanted to install in my 24 Willy’s.. I tried emailing Pac but have not heard anything.

I called Alpine USA today. They said the Alpine sub amp and tweeter upgrade only works with 2023 and down JL Wranglers. Did not have an answer when or if they will release a 2024 compatible kit.

Yea I made that call 2 months ago… for now I’ll just hold on to my setup and hope someone will make the new harness.

I have been doing a bit of research….Rockford DSR-1 with the Jeep Chrysler Dodge datalink adapter cable, SounDigital 400.4 EVOX, Alpine 8” powered sub, PWE-S8, Metra JP-18AMP- BRKT, 6 channel stinger RCA and some 8 gauge power and ground wire. Still deciding on the 4 pairs of speakers to upgrade. Probably go with alpine or kenwood speakers in dash and soundbar.

not really looking to upgrade the speakers just needed more power. With this kit it made a notable difference for me when I had it in my 2019.
