I used Alfa OBD on my Ram Diesels, I see the JLU is also supported. is anyone using Alfa OBD? I did not choose to use TAZER on my rams mostly because I did not want it to have to remain in the OBD port to keep certain things active...or maybe that was the Dodge challenger...

I want to disable auto/start stop - wondering if Alfa OBD will do this.

It will not disable ESS. Just get a Start Stop Eliminator.

I have been reseaerching this a bit more today, I see on some of the other forums that ALFA OBD will disbale the auto/start on previous years - unless something has changed. I will have to look through my Alfa OBD and see if there is a setting for it I guess.

It looks like I may be mistaken and it does support it from 2018+. I originally thought it was just a code reader. Good luck!

I have used Alfaobd on my TRX to do many changes however it was giving me module verification error on my 23 JL. Even with selecting to skip verification, it would not make any changes. I used Jscan for JL which worked flawless

JScan isn't practical for ESS disabling though. Taser or Start/Stop Eliminator (and whatever the competitor is)and apparently the above are your only good options.

Yes, I pulled up my Alfa OBD today and there is an option for it. I ordered the security cable and the OBD Link + today....I forgot to take it out of the last Ram I traded in...
