I have a Wrangler on order with the 2.0. I currently have a VW Tiguan with a very similar engine... 2.0 turbo w/direct injection. I have an aftermarket Borla exhaust on it (and still have the original). It has a nice deep sound to it that's not too loud. Would it be possible for me to have it retrofitted onto the Wrangler when it's delivered? If so, would it be cost effective? I've had it for 5-1/2 years and bought it used for $450.

Anything's possible. You may be able to reuse the muffler, but would have to have a shop custom work all new piping.

Depends on the shop on the cost, but I'd think you'd be better off just getting a new bolt on setup.

I've been very pleased with the Borla Touring Climber cat-back on my 2.0 turbo. Nice base tone, no drone, and more ground clearance without the big muffler hanging below the rear bumper. Money very well spent!
